| 中文描述 | 髮狀芽孢梭菌在犬貓會引起罕見的出血性或壞死性腸炎，伴隨下痢和多發的區域性肝臟壞死。較常發生於年輕動物。感染此疾病會快速死亡，而且因為髮狀芽孢梭菌不容易培養，最後診斷常是經由死亡後剖檢來進行微生物鑑定。本疾病症狀可能會類似貓的泛血球減少症，而且也有報告指出幼貓可能會出現結腸炎卻沒有發生肝臟病變。 |

| 英文描述 | CLOSTRIDIUM PILIFORME causes a rare disease of dogs and cats characterized by hemorrhagic or necrotizing enterocolitis with diarrhea and multifocal hepatic necrosis. Young animals more commonly affected. The disease is rapidly fatal, and due to the difficulty of isolating C. PILIFORME, dx is usually made at necropsy by identifying the organism. May resemble Feline Panleukopenia in the cat, and cases of colitis without liver involvement have been described in kittens. |
